Riyale’s Revenge Arrests Continue 
 

Md. Dahir Riyale is issuing the warrant for the arrest of the Deputy Chairman of the National Election Commission, Mr. Hirsi Haiji Ali.  When Hirsi adamantly refused to put Riyale’s interest above the interest of the country, he became the enemy.  Nothing short of his arrest will stop the election process.  While the optimist vice president and Mr. Waranadde predict a compromise, Riyale is weaving his web of deception and wants to silence the voices the people by arresting not only the defiant head of NEC but all the opposition leaders. 

He is not only interested in arresting the head of National Election Commission but he is also working hard to imprison Mr. Ahmed Silanyo, the Chairman of the opposition party KULMIYE and Mr. Faisal Ali Waraabe, Chairman of the UCID party.   If he succeeds the arrest of these three men, then he succeeds in silencing the voices of dissension and he stalls the process of democratizing Somaliland.  One wonders where he is taking the country by such actions.  As long as he can live in the presidential mansion and misappropriate the meagre resources of the country, he feels to be sitting pretty.  But will he really? 

People of Somaliland be aware of this president.  He is giving you all the indication that he will take you to hell after May 15.  Keep him contained. Stay vigilant.
